Hola, mis queridos estudiantes, espero que todo este bien con ustedes y sus familias. Aquí tienen algunas actividades para desarrollar en clase hoy. No duden en contactarme a través del correo electrónico o whatsapp, si tienen alguna duda.

It is necessary that you see the previous videos in order to remember the concepts studied in classes. The first video is related to the use of simple present and the rules for the third person with a brief explanation and some examples, in which you can apply the concepts worked.

Es necesario que ustedes vean los videos previos para recordar los conceptos estudiados en clase. El primer video se refiere al uso del presente simple y las reglas para las terceras personas con una breve explicación y algunos ejemplos en los cuales pueden aplicar los conceptos trabajados.

The second video is about how to write the daily routine, through it, you will learn how to talk about your habits, when you see the video you must write  a short paragraph about your routine, taking into consideration the explanation in the video and the concepts seen in class previously.

El segundo video es acerca de cómo escribir la rutina diaria, a través de él, aprenderán como hablar acerca de sus hábitos, cuando vean el video ustedes deben escribir un párrafo corto acerca de su rutina, teniendo en cuenta la explicación del video y lo visto en clase previamente.

At last, you will find two short texts and some questions about them, in order to practice reading comprehension. You must practice the second text: MY WONDERFUL FAMILY, because I will call you and you will read the text in oral way.

Por último, encontrarán 2 textos cortos y algunas preguntas sobre ellos, para practicar comprensión de lectura. Ustedes deben practicar el segundo texto MI MARAVILLOSA FAMILIA, porque yo los llamaré y ustedes leerán el texto en forma oral.

At the end there is a video about fruits with their pronunciation and image, you can practice and learn this vocabulary.

MY EVERY DAY LIFE
 
 


My name is Jerson. I am from Chocó, Colombia. My mom comes from an indigenous community and my dad is Afro Colombian. They were all born in Acandí, a beautiful municipality of Chocó. I am 13 years old and this is my life!

I wake up very early in the morning to go fishing with my dad. We wake up at 3:00 a.m, we take our small boat and we go back home at 6:00 a.m., so I can get ready for school. At 6:20 a.m., I take a quick shower, I eat bread and drink aguapanela for breakfast. Then, I help my dad to finish cooking our lunch and I pack my notebook and pencil case and I am ready to go to school.

When I go back home, I help my dad to sell the fish left; helping my dad makes me feel grateful.  At 4:00 p.m., I do my homework and I usually go to the library to read a book or I play soccer with my friends. Sometimes, I go to the beach with my dad and we collect seashells (they are objects were snails live); this makes me feel relaxed. At 7:00 p.m., I always prepare a hot drink and my dad buys more bread and cheese for dinner. I go to bed early; I go to sleep at 9:00 p.m. I never watch TV because we don’t have one but my dad and I, we usually listen to the radio before sleeping.

On weekends, I usually see my mom and my siblings. We have lunch together and we always take long walks to collect oranges and limes; being with my mom makes me feel happy.
